How it works

From your licence to a hosted Tally Prime session

CloudTally Pro runs the hosted platform. You keep your own Tally Prime licence and choose who in your team can sign in.

  1. Step 1

    Provide your Tally Prime licence

    You supply a valid Tally Prime licence key. CloudTally Pro hosts access to Tally Prime; it does not sell or include the licence.

  2. Step 2

    We connect your hosted workspace

    CloudTally Pro staff set up your account, subscription and hosted Tally Prime workspace, then invite your users.

  3. Step 3

    Sign in and open your session

    Sign in to the client portal and choose Open Tally Prime. Access is checked on our server every time.

Open in your browser

Launch your hosted Tally Prime workspace in a new browser tab from the client portal, wherever you are working.

Laptop access app

Connect to the same workspace from a laptop app. It appears in your portal downloads, with supported operating systems, version and setup steps, once a supported installer is approved.

Who provides what

You provide

  • A valid Tally Prime licence key
  • The names and emails of the people who need access
  • Your Tally Prime company data

CloudTally Pro provides

  • The hosted access platform and your workspace connection
  • The client portal: subscription, seats, storage, downloads and backups
  • Support tickets handled by CloudTally Pro staff

Access is checked on our server, every time. Before a session opens we confirm your account, subscription status, assigned seat and permissions. An expired, suspended or unassigned account cannot open a session, even from a saved link.
